Join us from June 7th to June 10th, 2024, for this year's Honor Hike, an event dedicated to remembering and honoring the bravery and sacrifices of our fallen law enforcement heroes. Continuing the journey from where we paused last year, our trail begins in the heart of the Appalachian mountains in Damascus, VA, and stretches northward, embodying the spirit of endurance and remembrance.

This year, our mission is deeply personal and profoundly significant. We hike to pay tribute to over 130 law enforcement officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty in 2023. Each mile we conquer on the Appalachian Trail represents a fallen hero, a reminder of their ultimate sacrifice for our communities and our nation.

A team of four courageous hikers – comprising active, reserve, and retired law enforcement officers – will lead our trek. Each participant carries with them not just the physical weight of their packs but the honored names of the officers they are hiking for. These names serve as a powerful reminder of the purpose of our journey and the individuals we strive to commemorate.

We Need Your Support!
This monumental task cannot be accomplished alone. We are seeking additional volunteers who are ready to lace up their boots, carry the legacy of a fallen officer, and join us on this poignant journey. Whether you are a member of the law enforcement community, a supporter, or someone who shares our commitment to honoring these heroes, your participation will make a significant difference.

To become a part of this noble cause, please follow this link to fill out an application: Volunteer Application here you will find all the necessary information to join us on the trail, whether for a mile, a day, or the entire hike.
